MY FAMILY

                             

                                           👪  My family is a wonderful family living in the beautiful village called Olagankada in Kegalle city..There are five members of my family. Mom, dad, sister, me and my pet puppy. Six months ago, my family had six members. That's my grandfather. He died.We are a fun loving family who live very happily every day. There is no joy in the presence of even one of my family members. Family happiness depends on all of us. My father works very hard for the development of the family and protects the family. Mother takes good care of me like my sister and keeps the family together.

                               👪 If I mention something about my father, his name is Ranjith Weerasinghe. He is a retired Army soldier. Now he works as an employee in a private company. Talking about my mother, she is a housewife. Her name is Rohini Mangalika. These days, she is practicing crocheting and watching us live.My sister's name is Mahinsa Sarangi Weerasinghe. She is currently preparing for the A/L exam to be held in 2024. A very active and enthusiastic sister. She is the youngest in the family. That means my sister.And there is a family member. That's my pet. His name is Mashal Boy. He is a very stubborn dog. And he is very tough. He is 10 years old.At the end I am .... ha ha ha. I am currently studying as a university student at the University of the visual and performing Arts, Colombo. I am Deshini Sharmila.

                    👪       We are a very happy family. An artistic family. In the evening we get together and sing songs. My mother and father lead our family by being an example to all. I am lucky to be born in such a family. I love my family.

IF I GET A CHANCE TO GO TO THE MOON

                       

From my childhood I have heard that Americans went to the moon and came back safety .That first person to set foot on the moon has been neil Armstrong. He went to the moon with Michael collins and Edwin Aldrin. The two other astronauts .This happened in 1969.After there first visit to the moon ,the Americans went there serveral times as well .They sent some more astronauts and gathered more and more information about the moon. They are still conducting experiment to find out whether human beings could live there.

                   

    I also have a great liking to go to the moon.If I can get a chance one day . But chances for us in sri lanka are very slim.however ,If I get such a chance I will never miss itunder any circumstances .If they ask me to go to the moon in a rocket ,I will have to get a very good training prior to my departure from the Earth.That is because there is ,it is reported .no oxyegen which is the main thing required  by man to live.

                    If I go to the moon on the instructions of the sscientists , the first thing I do is to look at the 🌎 earth . Especially at Sri lanka 🇱🇰 .when I said this to a friend of mine,he laughed saying that it would be very difficult for me to see our country becouse it is too small.However ,even if i do not see our country  from the moon, I will surely provide all the information to the scientists in our country too. I will also give information to my friends.

                        I will conduct experiment using most modern scientific equipments provided to me.  I will try to see whether there is a prossibility for man to live there happily . After my successful visit, I will come back to sri lanka and write a book on my visit.That book will surely be one of the fast selling books which will give me money.

SIGIRIYA Rock Fortress

                             🦁Sigiriya rock fortress is a historical place. Sigiriya is a Word 🌎 heritage. UNESCO Organizing comittee was nominated as sigiriya is a world heritage. King Kashyapa was built by Sigiriya rock fortress. King Kashyapa 's father was king Dhathusena .Sigiriya rock fortress has the 🦁lion mouth ,the beautiful frescose ,ponds,water trench.. etc. This is a tourist attractive place . It's 100m too high.Apart from that ,Dr. Senarath Paranavithana sung 652 Doodle songs. The special thing is Sigiriya Arts is similar to Indian Ajantha Arts of exist inlegend . It is our duty and responsibility to preserve such ancient things . We must teach the future genation to preseve these things.🦁

                                              My favourite fruit is an apple .It is most delicious fruit.An apple is an edible fruit produced by an apple tree .An apple tree introduced in scientific name as Malus domestica Apple trees are cultivated worldwide and are the most widely grown species in the genius Malus .The tree originated in Central Asia,where its wild ancestor,Malus sieversii,is still found today .Apples have been grown for thousands of years in Sia and Europe and were brought to North America by European colonists.Apples have religious and mythological significance in many cultures ,including Norse ,Greek and European Christian  tradition .Apple is an economic product.l would like to eat apple every day.Apple ia an exportable fruit .This product has main place in the world Market .In the present day world farmers  use chemical fertilizers of fruits for preparation .Apples are store in various types in the market like boxes ,bottles ,tins....etc.An apple is a tasty fruit .I really  like an apple. If our country  has an apple thought me.

A HELP FULL PERSON IN MY LIFE

                           👸👸There are many helpful people in my life . among them my mother stands out. From the moment we are born to this world. Mother is the one who comforts us. I can remember how she has been with me in ups and down in my life .She not only use me wonderful advice but also directs me in the correct path. 

                         👸👸  Her name is R. Mangalika. she was born on 21st may in 1968.she is a house wife .She is a courageous woman who takes responsibility for our family.. She has two children. It's me and my sister. My mother can sing very well. she is very beautiful. I am proud to say that my mother is the best mother in the world .

 String instruments

Music instruments that generate sound by the vibrations of a stretched string such as the violin, sitar, guitar, banjo, and cello are known as string instruments.

the frequency of sound generated by stringed instruments depends on the following factors.

1.length of the vibrating strings

2. tension of the string or the extent that the string is stretched 

3.mass of a unit length of the string

 Percussion instruments

instruments generating sound by the vibration of stretched membrane, mental rods or metal plates are known as percussion instruments . such instruments have to be tapped in order to generate sounds.

 tabla. rabana , dawula , udakki, and thammattama are examples for percussion instruments .

SIR ATHAR C. KLARK

                     

    💥   Born on 16 December 1917 in Somerset, England. His village was situated next to the sea. His mother was Nora Mary Willis. Father's name is Charles Wright Clark. He was a lieutenant in the Royal Engineers. But he died when Clark was young.Clark was very interested in observing the sky. He was very curious about it. He also had a passion for reading books. That passion was so much that he even spent the money he got from school to read books.

                            💥1941 World War II started. At that time, he joined the military service. He worked as a technical engineer. Here, he had a great opportunity to show his concern about the technical achievements that received the attention of the whole world.

                           💥As a  result of guiding his thinking with these experiences, the concept of exchanging messages through satellites was born in his mind .Therefore, in 1960, the world's first communication satellite named 'Echo' was launched into space.

In 1956, he obtained citizenship as a Sri Lankan. The basic foundation to establish Sri Lanka's lack of technological center was by Mr. Arthur Ciklak's financial donation.

MY LAST YEAR VACATION

                                             

  👉👉👉👉👉👉👉👉  Last year december vacation my father arranged a trip to Anuradhapura .My uncle's family joined us. So we got up at early morning and packed our bags. After that our uncle's family come our home it too.

                                                    So, We start our trip at about 5.30AM by my father's van. After two our we reached Kurunagala. There after that we took breakfast there . near the lake . after three our reached Anuradhapura. Firstly we went to thisawawa and took our lunch at about 12.30P.M . after that we went to thisa wewa and jumped . we swam and bath in that lake .we played water sports. Then after some time began to swim at middle of lake . suddntly ,my sister screamed "help me! help me !!  after my father and uncle swam soon at my sister .My father caught my sister's hands and swam at us.my father and my uncle saved my sister's life.

                                                        After some time she opened her eyes . my sister saw us. then my mother hug my sister. Not only that we came back lake bank and changed our clothes .after that we went and visited Jayasirimaha bodiya . there after that we offered flowers and warshipped lord buddha. secondly we went to Jethawanaramaya , ruwanwalimahasaya... etc.. after we came back our home at 10.30 P.M.  That trip was very nice.👈👈👈👈👈👈👈👈

                                                                                              👉👉👉👉👉The main stringed instrument in Hindustani music is the sitar .The sitar widely used in classical music as well as simple music .The musical instrument is instrument of India origin and became popular after coming to this country .The shape of the sitar similar to the Persian musical instrument called oud.The sitar was invented by Ameer Khushru.The  instrument is mainly used in the Indian subcontinent itself .Pandit Ravi Shankar is an accomplished sitar player .In addition to that Usthad wiliyat Khan ,Anushka Shankar are an accomplished sitar players .Dr .Nirmala Rudrigo ,Pradeep Rathnayake are zn accomplished sitar players in Sri Lanka .There are many others .

THE LAST DAY I WENT TO SCHOOL

         

      👉The last day  I went to school is one of the most refreshing memories that I cherish till today .It was one of those auspicious days,where I found my self stepping into a new world with a new horizon .I was leaving the secure portals of my school where I had spent thirteen cherishing years of my life .

         

👉 On the last day of my school I remember my mother waking me up at 5.30 am in the morning  to get ready to walk down my school premises one last time .I was all set to take the last day of school in my stride and so were my friends and classmates .some of the students brought video cameras as well to record some exciting and memorable moments together for the last time .we sung songs that day .we took blessings from the teachers before attending the A/l examination school last day .

 

        👉    It was now time to greet my friends and classmates good bye for final time .I was taking my scrap book to all my friends requesting  them to write a few lines .we then hugged each other with a loud uproar for the last and final time along the school corridors and stepped out of the portals so dear.the last day of school was one of the most cherished days of my life .I was happy that my school had formed me and taught to me to accept  in challenges in life .I was sad to leave school ;but the last day of school marked a new beginning  in my life .Now I passed the A/l examination and I started my university life.
